description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article , Other literature type 2021Publisher:EDP Sciences Authors: Yafeng Li; Yanchen Shang; Jianbo Wu;This paper uses the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) as the basic framework, and evaluates the water environment risk management technology of the river basin in Liaoning Province, so as to scientifically and reasonably measure the advantages and disadvantages of the existing technology.The research results show that the best technical indicator is the research management technology of water environment quality monitoring technology; the best environmental indicator is the management technology of the research project of water quality safety assessment and early warning management technology in the basin. The highest overall score is the water environment quality monitoring technology method research management technology. Each management technology has certain advantages, and the management technology should be used jointly.

Large-scale mining operations have led to land disturbance over large areas. The coal industry development program, which provides for a significant increase in production, will further aggravate the identified problem. There are a lot of reclamation mechanisms, they must be implemented comprehensively, be high-tech. Large-scale disturbance of land resources, and land retirement, its pollution and littering are the most significant problems requiring a primary solution. The mechanism of state and regional legal regulation of disturbed land reclamation is proposed. Improving the quality of reclamation will be facilitated by the development of a strategy for the environmental remediation, which would be included into the Concept for reclamation of disturbed lands.

The sustainable development of the Russian Federation subjects and municipalities, their evolution to the status of “smart cities” is not possible without solving this problem. The current situation in the area of SHW treatment leads to the dangerous environmental pollution, improper use of the natural resources, and the significant economic damage and poses a threat to the health of the present and future generations of the country. The authors examine the issues of implementation of the changes in the field of municipal solid waste management legislation. The problems of the comprehensive waste management are also discussed on the example of the Sverdlovsk region (Sverdlovskaya Oblast).

Team based on the front end of deep learning module and backend soft measurement model of collaborative structures, design and improvement of the learning algorithm combined with nested integration depth control series new front end treatment module, the successful implementation of heavy metal ions in industrial wastewater concentration of accurate prediction, and according to the predicted results and the analysis of liquid ingredients, targeted treatment after intelligent classification.

Wastewater of this industry is intensively polluted with easily decomposable organic substances, which can cause great damage to water bodies. Existing wastewater treatment technologies are extremely energy-consuming due to deficiencies in the analysis of the composition of liquid media, which can reveal an excess of maximum permissible concentrations of not more than ten percent of the total amount of normalized pollution. In the present paper, data on the existing wastewater discharge obtained by the laboratory method are presented, and the level of their pollution is estimated. Information about the developed Microbiological Treatment System and its ability to reduce pollutant concentrations is presented: for suspended solids by 17 times, for mass concentration of fats by 17 times, for BOD5 (biochemical oxygen demand) by 45 times, for COD (chemical oxygen demand) by 10 times, in artificially created storage ponds.

According to the design data, considering the influence of the uncertain factors such as hydrology and hydraulics, this paper analyses the relationship between the elevation of the upstream cofferdam and the upstream design water level, uses the Monte Carlo method to simulate the construction flood process and the discharge capacity of the diversion buildings, makes statistical analysis and determines the risk corresponding to the upstream water level distribution of the cofferdam and the water retaining height of the cofferdam, and establishes the calculation model of the construction diversion risk.

Mohamed Faouzi in OpenAIREThe study area of Rmel-O. Ogbane aquifer, located in the north of Morocco, currently faces major water challenges related to the sustainable management of water resources. Climate change and Sea-Level-Rise can increase the risks and costs of water resources management and impact water resources' quantity and quality. Hence, for planning and management, an integrated approach is developed for linking climate models and groundwater models to investigate future impacts of climate change on groundwater resources. Climate projections show an increase in temperature of about 0.45 °C and a reduction in precipitation of 16.7% for 2016-2050. Simulations of seawater intrusion corresponding to various combinations of groundwater extraction predicted climate change and sea-level-rise show that the area will be contaminated on the NW sector of the coastal part. The toe would reach about 5.2 km inland and intrude on high salinity (15–25g/l). Beyond these zones, the contamination of the aquifer will be limited. Moreover, these results were confirmed by the application of the GALDIT method. They reveal that the fringe littoral areas of the aquifer are the most affected by seawater intrusion, with a high risk in the north-western part of the study area.

Zhanna Mazhitova in OpenAIREThis article examines the environmental problems of the Western region in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The authors emphasize that for many decades the oil fields of Kazakhstan have developed mainly a raw material management system with extremely high technogenic loads on the environment. It is noted that for Kazakstani economy, oil and gas production and especially their export play a key role in generating income and growth within the gross product. At the same time, the authors point out that the impact of the oil and gas field on the environment in recent years has been characterized by its intensity, diversity and significant scale. The issue of developing new hydrocarbon raw materials deposits is considered, which is accompanied by geological exploration, drilling and construction works, laying of pipelines and roads. The authors come to the conclusion that a strong anthropogenic impact on all components of the environment causes an active change in the chemical and physicochemical properties of the soil, disrupts the hydrological regime of territories, leads to impoverishment and changes in the species composition, structure and productivity of phytocenoses, a reduction in the spatial distribution and number of animal populations. In conclusion, the authors put forward a number of fundamental tasks for solving environmental problems of the industry.

This study explores the possibility of using coal ash residue (waste from Kazan CHPP-2) as a substitute for fine-grained aggregate in sulfur concrete. The trend towards an increase in the level of utilization of waste heat power engineering is an important task. The chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties, including density, water absorption, compressive strength and thermal conductivity of sulfur concrete, including coal ash with partial and complete sand replacement, were investigated and the results were compared with those for standard cellular concrete. The authors studied modern heat-insulating materials and materials from industrial waste products. The article analyzes the estimated thickness of the insulating material depending on the type of structure. Outside walls made of sulfur concrete, in addition to high strength properties, have high thermal and economic performance.

It is shown that sources of environmental pollution form a complex technogenic system that initiates the development of qualitatively new negative processes that significantly affect the living conditions of the population. The complex structure and ecological impacts have determined the development of innovative methods for analysis of environmental safety in the territories under consideration. The objective of the studies outlined was to develop a rational set of simulation procedures to provide reliable forecast as an informational basis for making effective decisions on managing the ecological condition of the regional environment. The problem was solved by joint use of mathematical methods of analysis, synthesis and synthesis of the received materials.
