The article discusses the problems associated with the tourism industry and the hotel business during the pandemic. A study was carried out and relevant conclusions were presented on how the pandemic affected the hotel business in Europe and Russia. The authors examined and analyzed in detail the indicators of forecasts in the sphere of the Russian hotel business, particularly in the regions. The authors paid special attention to the study of open public spaces and conducted a detailed analysis, which made it possible to identify the opportunities for the development of the hotel business. In the article the main trends of a pandemic and post-pandemic are studied – the need to reinforce sanitary measures. The research focuses on identifying the features of the economic state of the regions during the pandemic. The authors developed and substantiated the areas that are relevant, useful and applicable for the hotel business; revealed the features of the process of restoration of the hotel business. Special attention is paid to the study of state support measures; the features of their further actualization for the development of the tourism industry are presented. The authors have proposed the ways to overcome the crisis, contributing to a slow, but accurate and safe recovery of the hotel business and an increase in demand.

In the framework of the study, the authors consider conceptual approaches to improve the management system of agrarian sphere development of regions in the realities of this industry functioning in the Russian Federation. Agrarian sphere is shown in aspects of socio-economic territorial system with its subsystems. The transition mechanisms of the agrarian sphere to the rails of sustainable development due to the choice of priority development directions within the life cycle are presented. The necessity of applying an integrated approach to the solution of industrial and social problems of the agricultural sector of the country is proved and reasoned.

Prefabricated building, as a representative of modern architecture, has been vigorously promoted, and the traditional problems of large on-site labor and long construction period have been well solved. At present, the development focus of prefabricated building has shifted to the stage of low-carbon, environmental protection, green and energy-saving sustainable development. Whether green and low-carbon design is considered in the planning and design stage has the greatest impact on the whole life cycle of the building. Therefore, this paper mainly summarizes the concept and importance of green and low-carbon building design; The paper points out the embodiment of green and low-carbon concept in prefabricated building design; And how to calculate the carbon emission in the design stage; In view of the prefabricated building design stage to achieve a better green low-carbon state of optimization countermeasures.

This article presents a systemic approach to municipal solid waste management in the Kaliningrad region. This approach is based on innovative practices and marketing research. It will contribute to regional development in line with the principles of green economy and cross-border cooperation in the Baltic countries. An innovative ecosystem should be created in the region to reach this goal, along with a network of solid municipal waste recycling enterprises. This network should include microenterprises. The study offers a universal business model for a recycling microenterprise.

The reconstruction of historic district is a hot topic in urban design in recent years. Weighing the interests of all parties, improving the space quality and meeting the use needs has become a century problem. In this paper, the Deshengqiao historic block is taken as an example to investigate by observing and recording the form of the inside and outside of the street and the edge space, people's behavior state, so that we can explore the use and future development of the edge space. According to the demand of the Deshengqiao residents who “want people to come in”, this paper puts forward a solution to present the Deshengqiao bolck’s most characteristic and life-rich articles and buildings in an artistic form, so as to create an attractive Street entrance and a comfortable communication place and spiritual space, enhancing the image of the city and giving play to the functions of edge spaces.

The paper discusses scientific and technological grounds for using peat, its wastes and processing products as sorption materials for liquidation of pollutions on water and oil basis. A negative effect on the hydro-physical properties of peat by hysteresis phenomena occurring during drying is noted. Use of optimal concentrations of mineral hydrophilic additives in peat matrix allows to increase speed and capacity of sorption. A working hypothesis is proposed that explains the physical and chemical mechanism for increasing quality of composite sorbents. A principal technological scheme for obtaining sorption materials based on peat is developed. It allows to take into account possible transitions between stages of the technological process, which reduce its cost.

The paper deals with the environmental issues of agriculture. Examples are given that pose a threat to the vital activity of living organisms from various types of agricultural and human activities. The subject of the study is the analysis of environmental issues arising from the intensification of the development of agricultural industry. Intensive agricultural activity leads to pollution of surface rivers, lakes, seas and groundwater, soil degradation and aquatic ecosystems; violation of the water regime in large areas during drainage and irrigation; desertification due to wind erosion; destruction of natural habitats of living organisms of flora and fauna. An urgent problem of agriculture is a decrease in the content of vitamins and microelements in crop production and the accumulation of harmful substances in them. The reasons for these negative processes are soil degradation, intensification of agricultural production.

In this article, we are shining lights on the ecological transition, as a switch from a societal model that prioritizes economic growth towards a model that supports environmental sustainability as well economic prosperity at the same time. We will develop, in an approach foresight, which highlights all the dimensions influencing the role of each individual with respect to his behavior and ecological responsibility. This paper will also identify the determinants of consumer’s ecological behavior in the Moroccan context. It aims to describe a consumer's ecological behavior by taking a responsible decision that guarantees its social responsibility. The innovative benefit of our perception is to integrate the ecological aspect into the dimensions chosen in order to define and further explain a responsible ecological behavior.

This work is devoted to the rural areas’ integrated development issues. The advantages of a systematic approach for the sustainable development paradigm main policies’ goals implementation and the possibility of using geoinformation technologies as a tool for multidimensional analysis of rural areas are considered. A two-stage methodology for monitoring the rural settlements development, which makes it possible to assess the territory at the federal and local levels by a set of indicators reflecting the main aspects of socio-economic processes, is proposed. Special attention is paid to assessing the quality of the environment by three groups of factors that take into account environmental comfort, movement comfort and other indicators characterizing the comfort of living from the point of view of the territorial residents’ individual needs.

The multifunctionality of the city makes it possible to consider it from the point of view of the urbanized landscape, giving due attention to the concept of its sustainable development. The development is based on the landscape-ecological approach, which makes it possible to analyze the natural, social, economic and urban planning subsystems of the city’s land-property complex. This approach made it possible to assess natural and anthropogenic processes, to establish the degree of degradation of the urban landscape and, based on the method of analyzing hierarchies, the results of sociocultural surveys, to develop a set of measures for the rational organization of the use and protection of urban lands [1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9-11].
